Welcome to our Shift Middle School Community! We meet most Tuesdays from 6:30-8:30pm. Shift is a ministry specifically designed for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. It is a place where we come to laugh, play, make new friends, worship and learn about God’s amazing love for us and the world. We’re committed to finding the fun, wacky, crazy, amazing, jaw dropping plans God has in store for each of us! Our dream is each and every middle schooler recognize the incredible ways God has equipped them to create peace, joy, and hope on this earth. The best part? No waiting required! It’s happening right now!

TUESDAYS

Faith, fellowship and FUN! Those are the three pillars of Shift we hold dearly. Every Tuesday we make sure to devote our time to all three! On any given Tuesday, you can expect to play some funky games, win some prizes, or even compete in a costume contest. From games, we transition to one of our leaders (or some of our students) sharing ways they’ve experienced Jesus in their own lives. We might write poetry, spend time in prayer, or anything else that helps us focus in on our fave person, J.C. But our favorite part of a Tuesday? Spending time with our small groups! Be it catching up with each other, sharing deep parts of our lives, or debating whether or not a giant squid could beat a gorilla in a wrestling match, our small group time is sacred time to celebrate being in community. Take each of these things, add a bunch of rad students and leaders, and Tuesday nights shape up to be an unstoppable force of GREATNESS. We can’t wait to see you this Tuesday!

OUR VOLUNTEER LEADERS

Our adult volunteer leaders are an integral part of our community. They lead small groups, meet with kids one-on-one, carve out time to come to retreats and mission trips, and help students explore what it means to move forward in their faith in Jesus.

If you would like to contact any of our volunteers, please reach out to Kezia at keziar@spokanefpc.org to get their contact information!

For any SHIFT related activity, you need a signed medical release form.
